Vascular Lesions
What are Vascular Lesions?
Vascular Lesions are common skin malformations of the veins, arteries and lymphatic vessels that are apparent on the surface of the skin. We use Sciton, InMode, and Fotona technologies to treat skin pigment problems as well as vascular lesions.
How does the treatment work?
During the treatment there will be a heating sensation followed by some redness. This normally subsides within the hour, and there is generally no discomfort, and no down time.
After 1-3 sessions, the clarity of your skin improves and the treatment decreases the look of:
- Age Spots
- Sun damaged skin
- Vascular lesions – Spider veins, Port Wine stains and Leg Telagliectasias
What should you expect after the treatment?
After a single procedure, patients notice significant improvements on their complexion. Over the next 24-48 hours, you may notice a darkening of the pigmented spots, but then there will be an evening out of the skin tone. Results for vascular lesions and spider veins are normally more noticeable after two weeks. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and tanning after treatments.
